Mission Statement

The Coalition for Effective Local Democracy strengthens local democratic governance through citizen empowerment and involvement by supporting a variety of locally initiated projects. The primary focus is helping citizens in the global community, help themselves. 

By helping others in the global community help themselves, we ultimately advance our own interests by building trust and promoting the common good.
